One stabbed during suspected gang fight at Aurora festival

One person was stabbed during a suspected gang fight at Aurora's Fiestas Patrias festival Sunday.

Aurora police said the 16-year-old victim suffered a single stab wound to his back and was transported to a hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.

The fight broke out just before 8 p.m. at the downtown festival, police said.

It was quickly broken up by responding officers.

Another juvenile was arrested for battery to another victim during the fight, but was not charged in the stabbing.

The stabbing is under investigation.
