A Wheaton man with at least two previous DUI convictions in DuPage County is wanted on a $10,000 arrest warrant after being charged in a November 2017 crash that killed a pedestrian in the city.

Robert Hansen, 51, of the 1100 block of Marcey Avenue, has been charged with failure to stop after an accident involving a death.

According to court documents, Hansen was driving a 2011 Chevy Suburban at 9:13 p.m. on Nov. 25 when he was involved in a crash on East Roosevelt Road between President and Blanchard streets that killed Hem Raj Magar.

DuPage County coroner officials said Friday that Magar, 22, of Wheaton, died after being struck by a vehicle.

The charging documents allege Hansen didn't stop, return to the scene nor report the crash.
