FBI investigating Addison bank robbery

The FBI is searching for a man who robbed the Chase Bank Addison branch on Tuesday evening.

Officials say the man entered the bank around 6 p.m., demanded money and fled west on Lake Street. They said the man implied he had a weapon but never showed it. He still should be considered armed and dangerous.

FBI officials say the man has a small build and appears to be between 20 and 30 years old with black hair. He wore a black knit hat, a black hooded jacket, red gloves and a multicolored scarf.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the FBI at (312) 421-6700 or leave a tip at tips.fbi.gov. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
