Worst potholes in Cook County

Here are some locations in Northwest Cook County where big pothole problems have been reported. Crews have been working to fill as many of the holes as they can.

• Hintz Road between Arlington Heights and Buffalo Grove roads in Arlington Heights

• Graceland, Lee and Oakton streets in Des Plaines

• County Farm Road in Hanover Park

• Elgin-O'Hare Expressway between Lake Street and Gary Avenue in Hanover Park • Dempster Street, between Route 83 and Busse in Mount Prospect

• Several spots along Hicks Road between Euclid Avenue and Lake Cook Road in Palatine

• Frontage Road north of Rand Road in Palatine

• Schaumburg's most pothole-prone area is the Centex Industrial Park south of Wise Road between Rodenburg Road and Mitchell Boulevard in Schaumburg

• Wolf Road in Wheeling
