Famous Dave's is back
If you miss Famous Dave's barbecue, you're in luck as the barbecue restaurant recently opened a ghost kitchen inside Granite City's Naperville location. Now you can order up ribs, apps (cheese curds, burnt ends, wings), Famous Feasts, barbecue combos, burgers, sandwiches (Georgia chopped pork, barbecue pulled chicken, Texas beef brisket), sides (Wilbur beans, cornbread muffins, Dave's cheesy mac & cheese), salads and more for pickup or delivery only.

Vasili's debuts
From the Francesca's Restaurant Group comes the new Mediterranean restaurant Vasili's, which opened recently in the Water Street District in downtown Naperville. Offering dishes crafted from recipes passed down through generations and created by Chef Jaysen, the menu offers hot (saganaki, spanakopita, roasted bone marrow) and cold (beet salad, mezze, Brussels sprouts) dishes, spreads (tzatziki, skordalia, htipiti), souvlaki, entrees (lamb porterhouse, feta brined chicken, pork blade chop, gyros, Yiayia Penny's Pastitsio, moussaka), shareables and more. Orders can be placed through Tock for curbside pickup from 4 to 9 p.m. daily.

There's still time to order up holiday cocktails packaged for carryout from O'Toole's Libertyville.
