Weekend at play: Alice Cooper plays the Genesee, Nelson twins rock the Raue

Veteran rocker Alice Cooper plays the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan, "Christmas With the Nelsons" heads to Crystal Lake's Raue Center for the Arts, and Cosley Zoo's Festival of Lights and Tree Sale returns for the season in Wheaton. Caponera comedy

Comedian and actor John Caponera ("The Good Life," "Jocks") got his start playing the Chicago comedy circuit. Cosley at Christmastime

Illuminated animal displays are part of Cosley Zoo's Festival of Lights and Tree Sale beginning this weekend. Bring the whole family to Cosley Zoo, 1356 N. Gary Ave., Wheaton. Free admission.
