Construction underway on CLC’s new sports complex

May 18, 2026 2:21 pm - The College of Lake County baseball and softball teams will experience an impressive upgrade next spring with new fields and facilities at the future sports complex at the Grayslake Campus. Construction is in progress for the project set to be completed for the 2027 seasons.

Each dollar donated provides $8 worth of groceries for local families facing hunger across 13 counties.

May 13, 2026 5:41 pm - Over 1,600 participants and 100 volunteers gathered at Cantigny Park for Northern Illinois Food Bank's 13th annual Fight Hunger event. Last year, the nonprofit provided 93 million meals. They expect to serve 35,000 additional neighbors in May and June due to SNAP requirement changes.
