Glenview Hiring Fair to be held March 11 at library

Twenty different businesses and entities will be represented at the Glenview Hiring Fair, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. March 11 in the Community Room of the Glenview Public Library, 1930 Glenview Road.

The fair is presented by the library, the Glenview Chamber of Commerce, and Express Employment Professionals, which helps businesses find candidates for office, professional and light industrial positions. It is for people seeking full-time, part-time and seasonal employment.

The Glenview Park District, Glenview District 34 and businesses such as Busey Bank, Kohl Children's Museum, Renaissance Chicago Glenview Suites Hotel and Instructional ABA Consultants will be among the employers at the event, which is free to attend.

"Staffing needs and other challenges are continuing to hurt our local business economy," Glenview Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Meghan Kearney said. "We wanted to offer businesses a one-stop shop to meet qualified candidates, hold open interviews and eventually help them become fully staffed."
