Mortimer promoted to managing broker

Yvonne Mortimer has been promoted to managing broker of the Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Schaumburg and Wheaton offices of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago.

Previously, Mortimer was operations manager. Joe Stacy, senior vice president, general sales manager and previous managing broker, will turn his full attention to coaching and fostering agents' career growth, the residential real estate firm said.

Before joining BHHS Chicago early in 2022, Yvonne was Director of Agent Development at Baird & Warner where she worked out of their Glen Ellyn office. Prior to that, she was a managing broker for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Oak Brook, a position she held for seven years.

She was also a Realtor for Coldwell Banker for 26 years, five of which were as assistant manager of the firm's Hinsdale office.
