Amy Foote named 2020 Who's Who in Chicago real estate for Chicago Agent magazine

Every year, Chicago Agent magazine pauses to highlight the agents, brokers, lenders, developers, association executives and affiliates who are dedicating themselves to the Chicagoland real estate industry. These professionals are making a significant impact on the local economy through their work. They're building deep connections throughout the region and breaking records in terms of their achievements, and because of that, they've garnered a variety of acknowledgements and awards.

But also, each of the individuals in their Who's Who issue has a fascinating personal story to tell. They share how their influence and legacies are helping to build up the industry; what inspires them, how they've overcome the odds, what they've done to further their careers, and what paths they plan to embark upon in the future. They'll explain how they maintain balance while also offering their clients and fellow professionals impeccable service no matter what their specialty or career stage. You'll also read about what they do to give back to the communities that have given them so much through contributions to the organizations, charities and causes that matter most to them.

It's an exciting time for the real estate industry in Chicagoland, and the individuals in our 2020 Who's Who in Chicagoland Residential Real Estate underscore that perfectly.

This year, for her contributions to her office and her community, Amy Foote, Team Lead of The FOOTE Team @ Baird & Warner was name to Who's Who in Chicago Real Estate for Chicago Agent Magazine.

The daughter of a horse veterinarian who counts

the Chicago Police Department's horses among his

clients, Amy Foote grew up traversing Chicagoland

with her dad. She has lived in the northwestern

suburbs for 21 years — 18 of them spent working

in real estate — with her loan officer husband and

spends her days guiding clients' decision-making

toward solidifying deals.

Prior to becoming a Realtor, Foote served as

director of marketing for a psychological testing

company. After being laid off in the wake of Sept.

11, she found herself intrigued by conversations with

successful real estate agents. She decided to enter

the industry and never regretted it. Last year, Foote

was proud to see her team reach the top spot in her

office for both units and volume.

In addition to her MBA in marketing, Foote has

earned National Association of Realtors certifications

as a Graduate, Realtor Institute; Short Sales and

Foreclosure Resource; and Accredited Buyer's

Representative. She attributes much of her success

to business planning, and it shows: She's been an

award-level producer for 15 years and a Baird &

Warner Founder's Club member for the last five.

Foote covers the northwestern suburbs, going

wherever client needs take her. She creates

repeatable, successful processes for her team as

they work with buyers, sellers and investors to find

and sell single-family properties, condos, townhomes

and multifamily units. Enthusiastic and caring, she

is always accessible and informative, and her team

of eight helps provide personalized service, letting

nothing slip through the cracks.

Foote is a proud and avid fan of her children's

sports. A former athlete, she enjoys seeing their

competitive tendencies, which mirror her own. She's

also a board member for the D300 Food Pantry, which

serves a cause dear to her. Foote is invested in her

family, community and career, and the majority of her

business comes from referrals, as she maintains close

relationships after transactions are complete.
