Navigant Law Group Adds Senior Associate to Estate Planning Practice Group

Dora Moats has joined the team at Arlington Heights' Navigant Law Group, LLC in Estate Planning. Moats, an experienced attorney, has spent the last 15 years working in estate planning and related practice groups at Chicago-area law firms.

"Dora is an experienced trust and estates attorney, and we are thrilled that she will be joining the team at Navigant," said Navigant co-founder Mildred Palmer. "We know Dora is someone our clients will love to work with. She's trustworthy, knowledgeable, and is willing to go above and beyond for her clients."

Before beginning her legal career, Moats earned her bachelor's degree in justice studies from Northeastern Illinois University and her J.D. from University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. Since 2008, she has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families define and implement their estate planning goals and objectives. She has represented individuals, fiduciaries, and beneficiaries in probate and trust administration, including contested matters.

"My goal as an attorney is to share my in-depth knowledge of estate planning, trust, and probate law with clients, so they feel confident navigating the complex and important process of estate planning," claimed Moats. "Estate planning is critical for everyone, regardless of economic status. And I hope to help the firm spread awareness about the importance of estate planning."

"It's an exciting time at Navigant as our firm grows," said Palmer. "We are fortunate that Dora will be a part of that process."
