Illinois Right To Life to Give Award to the Honorable Daniel Lipinski

Project Love, the charitable program of Illinois Right to Life, will present its Caritas Award to the Honorable Daniel Lipinski at its annual breakfast on August 6. This award is given to persons or organizations that have been outstanding pro-life leaders in their field.

Mr. Lipinski served in the U.S. Congress, representing Illinois' third district, for 16 years. He was one of only a handful of pro-life Democrats, and promoted the dignity of all life, including the unborn, whenever he could.

Project Love provides financial grants to pregnant women and new mothers in a financial crisis. It has given almost 1,500 grants to women all over Illinois to help with rent, utilities and other urgent bills. They are referred by over 90 pregnancy resource centers throughout the state. All grant money comes from private donations, and the annual breakfast is the major fundraiser for these grants.

The breakfast is being held from 10 a.m. to noon at Avalon Banquets, 1905 East Higgins Road in Elk Grove Village. In addition to a bountiful breakfast, there will be a lovely silent auction. Reservations are required and may be made by calling (312) 422-9300, or you can purchase tickets or make a donation at illinoisrighttolife.org/breakfast/

Please join us to honor Daniel Lipinski as we celebrate his courageous dedication to respect for all life for many decades.
