Hanover Township to Host November 19 Blood Drive

The Hanover Township Office of Community Health will host a Blood Drive in coordination with the American Red Cross on Friday, November 19, 10AM to 3:30PM, at the Township Senior Center, 240 S. IL Route 59 in Bartlett.

"Moving into the winter season, it can be challenging to fill appointments for blood donations since people are often traveling for the holidays," said Kristen Smith, Director of Community Health at Hanover Township. "We encourage those who are eligible to schedule an appointment to donate blood and participate in this generous opportunity to save lives."

Participants will receive a $10 Amazon gift card. The day of the blood drive, donors are required to bring a photo ID, blood donor card, or two other forms of ID.

Since April 2020, the Township has hosted six blood drives, resulting in over 187 units collected.
