Sea Cadets Support Retirement of Chief Petty Officer

GREAT LAKES, IL (Oct. 8, 2021)

On Friday, October 8, 2021, Naval Sea Cadet Corps Unit 911, based at the Great Lakes, IL, provided color guard detail for the retirement ceremony of the Hospital Corpsman Chief Petty Officer (FMF) Lady Elyenn M. Haschke.

From Ceremony Coordinator Chief Hospital Corpsman (HMC) Julie Proa: The Naval Sea Cadet Corps Nine One One Division delivered a stellar performance as Color Guard during a time-honored tradition of retiring HMC Lady Haschke ashore after 24 years of service. The cadets displayed excellent military bearing and represented the Sea Cadets above and beyond in the presence of seasoned sailors with decades of service. We thank the cadets who performed, their parents for allowing them to be there during school hours, their Color Guard Instructor, and their co, for making it all happen.
