Streamwood Park District Kicks Off A Summer Concert Series
The first of three summer concerts begin on Wednesday, June 23 at Hoosier Grove Park.
Streamwood Park District
In 2020, the Streamwood Park District attempted to bring a Summer Concert Series to the community with three scheduled performances by local bands. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire series was postponed until state mandates were lifted and a sense of pre-pandemic normalcy was reintroduced.
Now, in 2021, as businesses reopen and activities are seeing a second life, the Streamwood Park District is picking up where it left off.
June's Summer Concert Series, presented by Fiesta Market, features concessions (sold by the Streamwood Park District Dance Academy) and live music by The Millennials, a group of highly skilled musicians having played festivals throughout Chicago area since 2015. Admission is free and the show starts at 7 p.m.
The second of the Summer Concert Series takes place on Wednesday, July 28, and features Final Say, a top cover band that covers hits from Top 40 to classic hits. The third and final edition of the series takes place on Wednesday, Aug. 25, and features the Hillbilly Rockstarz, Chicagoland's top country cover band.
