Order Fermilab Natural Areas 2020 calendar now

The Fermilab Natural Areas 2020 calendar is now available for order.

The calendars featuring Tina Smith's beautiful photos are 8 inches by 11 inches and printed on heavy duty 100# paper.

The photo of the "Bison in the Snow" was by far the favorite in Fermilab's photo poll. It is the photo for the month of January.

All profits from the sale of the calendars go to supporting the restoration of the natural habitat at Fermilab.

The calendars are $20 each plus shipping.

If you pick them up from Fermilab, there is no shipping charge. They will arrange local pickup times at Fermilab or nearby.

Allow for about a month after ordering for your calendars to arrive.

To place an order, go to fermilabnaturalareas.org.

The Fermilab Natural Areas organization, formed in 2006, is a nonprofit, all-volunteer network dedicated to restoring, managing and enhancing the natural areas and resources of Fermilab in order to maintain and improve their ecological health and biodiversity. The organization does not receive funding from Fermilab or the federal government. It depends on membership, donations and grants to fund its operations. Throughout the year, members conduct work events where volunteers come together to participate in organized restoration projects. They welcome all volunteers, donations and memberships to FNA.

They aim to conserve, restore and study the natural areas within Fermilab while encouraging employees and neighbors to experience and enjoy Fermilab's natural beauty.

Its vision is to see that Fermilab's natural areas and ecosystems are rich in biodiversity, that conservation and restoration are sustainable activities, that Fermilab is a regional leader in natural areas research and that the people of the surrounding communities consider the enjoyment of open spaces to be a valuable contributor to a high quality of life.
