Former educators now preschool owners host grand opening for community

Martin and Majlinda Gjini, onsite owners of the newest The Goddard School in Carol Stream revealed their modern preschool to the community during a grand opening ceremony on Saturday, March 2.

As educators, Martin and Majlinda opened a Goddard School in Carol Stream to provide area children with a high-quality educational experience and to inspire curiosity, independence and a life-long love of learning.

Local families with young children were invited to the school to participate in fun educational games and activities, dance to some music and see what The Goddard School is all about.

"My wife and I believe that in today's world, children need, more than ever, the social skills necessary to become successful later in life," Martin said about why he decided to open The Goddard School with his wife. "Children need guidance to properly channel their talent, interest and passion. That's why we decided to open The Goddard School located in Carol Stream."

Carol Stream Mayor Frank Saverino was also in attendance at the grand opening ceremony to help celebrate the school coming to the community.
