Chicagoland Blood Donors Devour Lou Malnati's Summer Promotion

If it's not too cheesy to say, Chicagoans love their pizza and giving back to the community with more than just their dough. When Lou Malnati's partnered this summer with LifeSource, one of the largest blood centers in the state, Chicagoland blood donors ate it up to benefit local patients.

LifeSource encourages its patients to schedule their next appointment during a donation visit. This summer, donors who scheduled their next appointment were entered into a random drawing to win a Lou Malnati's-gift basket that included a month of free pizza. The promotion resulted in 950 more pints of blood.

Winners of the LifeSource/Lou Malnati's summer pizza promotion were Ronald Maxwell of Highland Park, Robert Flores of Merrillville and Lillian Torres of Addison.

October is National Pizza Month and Lou Malnati's and LifeSource are celebrating together again. To join the celebration, be a participating donor before Nov. 15, 2016, at any LifeSource Community Donor Center and be entered into a drawing for Free Pizza.
