Bloomingdale teens challenged to scavenger hunt

A monthlong, townwide scavenger hunt for teens is being planned by Bloomingdale Public Library and Bloomingdale Park District.

Called Read (and Hunt) for the Fun of It!, the event is part of Teen Read Week, but will last the entire month of October. Teens will be given 50 challenges, ranging from attending a library program to taking a picture at a specific spot around town.

Participants will have the chance to win several prizes, including OwlCrate young adult book boxes and a Kindle Fire, with additional opportunities to win other prizes along the way. The more challenges they complete, the greater the chance to win.

Teens can sign-up and log their process at http://bit.ly/bloomingdaleteenhunt.
