I loved the Ferris wheel with the LED lights changing constantly. You never know what you will get until the exposure is done. Fireworks were also happening at the same time, and were also on a time exposure. I married the fireworks to the Ferris wheel to fill in the open spaces. While traveling through Poland recently we saw many stark contrasts between the old communist-regime era and the new, modern Poland. I thought this picture of a drab communist-built apartment building in Warsaw reflected in the mirrored windows of the ultra-modern Supreme Court building summed up the meeting of the old and new perfectly.
