Gene editing exposes brave new world

Wow! The AP Medical Writer was so clinical in describing the gene-editing experiments on human embryos okayed in Britain, so concerned about the possibility of designer babies, so clear on the fact that these human embryos will only be allowed to develop to around 250 cells, that she left out the most significant fact in the story.

These human embryos are pre-born babies who could have grown up to be people just like you and me. These are persons, destroyed when very tiny, but human beings just the same. Life is God-given, precious at every stage of development from fertilization to old age.

Huxley's Brave New World is here. God help us all.
