Anderson Animal Shelter is seeking dog foster homes. They have dogs that are in need of temporary homes. All dogs are four months and older. Can you open your heart and home for a few weeks? Foster homes provide a safe and loving space until they are ready for adoption. If interested, contact the shelter no later than 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 27; call or text Rayann at (815) 901-5501 or Maria at (847) 431-4000.

Whether you have fostered before or this is your first time, Anderson will be there to help you along the way. Go to www.andersonanimalshelter.org to watch the video to see what is means to foster.

Anderson staff will provide any veterinary care for the foster animals including vaccinations, deworming and more. Once they're old enough, the veterinarian will spay or neuter them, and then they'll be ready to come back to the shelter for adoption. The more foster homes they have, the more lives they can save!
