North Shore Native: Matt Goldsberry Exhibits Colorful New Work at the David Adler Music and Arts Center

As part of its ongoing Exhibit Series, the David Adler Music and Arts Center will host an exhibit of Lake Bluff artist Matt Goldsberry's latest work this September. Mr. Goldsberry's collection of paintings, sculpture, photography will be augmented by live music, poetry and found art. The exhibit will also feature renderings of the artist and landscape architect's plans for the Adler Center. The exhibit opens Friday, September 11, 2015.

Goldsberry says, "It will be a culmination of who I am and where I came from growing up as a North Shore native."

An opening reception will be held on Friday, September 11th, from 6-9pm at the David Adler Music and Arts Center. This event is free and open to the public.

Matt Goldsberry, who was raised in Lake Bluff says he has "engineered his and his family's life to embrace the beauty of nature daily." He combines his passions for nature and landscape design in his art: energetic landscapes that capture the colors of the North Shore.

A frequent contributor to Artists on the Bluff exhibits, Matt Goldsberry's art was awarded the cover of the Lake Bluff/ Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce Community Guide in 2012.

See Matt Goldsberry's latest work through October 2nd at the David Adler Music and Arts Center, Mon-Thurs from 9am-9pm, Saturdays from 9am-2pm.
