Where you can get your daily Blackhawks cookie in Mt. Prospect
Central Continental Bakery decorator Jennifer Parkinson decorates 10 dozen Chicago Blackhawks cookies each day at the Mount Prospect business. Parkinson of Arlington Heights went to the Cookie and Hospitality Institute of Chicago, to learn her trade, and has been decorating for 10 years.
"When the Hawks won the first cup in 2010, we were making 20 dozen a day. They were flying off the shelves," said retail office manager Linda Spinelli.
