  While Blackhawks fans seemed to have fun in the snow and cold at the NHL Stadium Series at Soldier field, shooting in that kind of weather can prove to be problematic. The large snowflakes tend to throw off the focus of the camera. In this case you need to shoot a lot of frames as the vast majority of them will be out of focus.   A single drop of water falls from an icicle as temperatures warm in Elgin. I got a little wet shooting this frame, standing almost directly underneath the large icicle, hoping it would not break free and come plummeting down on my head.   I liked the way the early evening sun was reflected in a melting pool of snow and ice at Northside Park in Wheaton during a recent warm day.
