NIU Law Scrambles at 9th Annual Golf Outing

The Northern Illinois University College of Law Alumni Council recently held its 9th Annual Golf Outing at River Heights Golf Course in DeKalb, IL. The day was nothing short of par for the course as alumni and friends came out to hit the links and raise money for a student scholarship. The NIU Law Alumni Council Scholarship program gives an annual scholarship to a graduating student and supports other student-related programming events with the generosity of the golfers and many sponsors.

Golfers enjoyed a full 18 rounds, lunch, drinks, dinner, gifts, golf awards, and raffle. The winning foursome included first-year law student Oran Cart, Reggie Carter, Alumni Council immediate past-president Matt Pfeiffer ('00), and Alumni Council member Glenn Sowa ('83). During the brief program, Lenny Mandell was acknowledged and thanked for his 31+ years of service as Associate Dean of Student Services. Dean Mandell gave a few parting remarks and assured the group that he would continue to support this great event.
