Rush to salute military families Sunday

The Chicago Rush will host Military Appreciation Day at 3 p.m. Sunday during their Arena Football League game with Arizona Rattlers at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont.

The Rush have teamed up with the Wood Dale-based iD Commerce + Logistics to make Sunday’s game free to all veterans, active military personnel, and their families.

“We are thrilled that iD Commerce + Logistics has stepped up to the cause to make our Military Appreciation Day free to our local and national heroes,” said Rush executive vice president Ryan Simmons. “Having this opportunity to provide a day for these heroes to be honored and have fun is one of the best things I think professional sports teams can do. To also make it possible for those families who have a loved one serving overseas right now is just as special.”

To redeem this offer, veterans and active military personnel can simply show their ID at the Allstate Arena Box Office and get up to three additional tickets for their families. For families who have a loved one currently serving, they must email the Rush at tickets@arenarush.com by 5 p.m. Thursday to secure their tickets.
