Patlak: Sadler is an excellent assessor

As a former Wheeling Township assessor and current commissioner at the Cook County Board of Review, I can tell you firsthand that our current Wheeling Township assessor, Jerry Sadler, is deserving of election. Jerry worked as an assistant to former assessor Delores Stephan for many years and then served as my employee for another five years before taking my place.

During his tenure in my office Jerry distinguished himself as a public servant who always put the needs of our constituents first. Whatever the problem or complaint, Jerry Sadler always listened patiently and then took appropriate action to help the taxpayer. Because of his experience at the Assessor’s office as a staffer and more recently as township assessor, Jerry Sadler has acquired a great depth of knowledge that he regularly leverages on behalf of local taxpayers.

The feedback I received from property owners during the five years Jerry worked for me was always positive and the feedback I receive about Assessor Sadler now is just as good. We need conscientious, honest and experienced elected officials who are focused on serving the needs of their constituents. Jerry Sadler fits the bill. Please cast your vote for Jerry Sadler.
