Cuba Twp. crews are to be commended

In Lake Barrington, we are fortunate to have excellent service from the Cuba Township roads crew to keep our roads clear of snow. They consistently do a great job in keeping our roadways safe.

This week they went one step further in customer service, which I feel should be commended. Our mailbox was recently damaged by a snowplow. Within a few days, we were notified that the Cuba Township Roads Crew would come out to our house to repair the damage, and reimburse us for the cost of the replacement parts.

Sure enough, the crew came out yesterday, and fixed the mail box as promised. Their attention and courtesy is very much appreciated, and I just want to thank Highway Commissioner Tom Gooch and his crew for their diligence.
