Two Promotions in the Des Plaines Police Department

Two members of the Des Plaines Police Department were promoted at the Monday, February 4, 2013, City Council Meeting at Des Plaines City Hall, 1420 Miner Street. Joined by City of Des Plaines Officials, residents, co-workers, friends and family members, Police Commander Paul Burger was promoted to Deputy Chief, Operational Services, and Sergeant Chester Zaprzalka was promoted to Commander, Support Services. City Clerk Gloria J. Ludwig issued the oaths in the presence of the City Council.
