Arndt Park sled hill sees some action

On Jan. 14, kids of all ages headed out to the Des Plaines Park District’s Arndt Park sled hill for some free-zing fun. Whether on toboggan or tube, snowboard or saucer, the hill is a great way to enjoy a thrilling ride, fresh air, and some healthy exercise. The hill is lit, but unsupervised, and open every day when conditions allow. Parking is available in the Arndt Park parking lot, 1990 S. White St., along the east side of Illinois Street, and in the lot north of the hill. Visit www.DPParks.org or call (847) 391-5700.
