For Bloomingdale Dist. 13: Peterson, Litchfield, McKeown, Wojcicki

Voters in Bloomingdale Elementary District 13 have the luxury of a solid lineup of candidates. Four of the five candidates are incumbents and have demonstrated veteran leadership.

Board President Tamara Peterson takes a long-range view of the issues and potential challenges, such as staff turnover and incorporating technology into the curriculum.

Donald Litchfield, with his strong education background and board experience, has a real handle on the ins and outs of the budget, while Terry McKeown has business experience and is very knowledgeable about steps needed to move forward.

Linda Wojcicki, has been on the board since 1999 and seems to have her ear to the ground to capture community feedback.

All four incumbents deserve to be retained.

Newcomer Susan Lancaster has served as a park district commissioner and offers a fresh voice, but we would like to see more new ideas for the district.
