Accusations against Prochno purely false

I am tired of baseless facts being used in (Mark) Walker's dirty, Chicago-style campaign against Christine Prochno. Walker is using a page directly from Rod Blagojevich's political playbook, by making up lies, smearing Prochno's good name and attempting to blur his own record with dirty campaigning.

Walker's lies were exposed and condemned by Elk Grove Village Mayor (Craig) Johnson at a recent press conference. Mayor Johnson reaffirmed Christine's comments:

• Elk Grove did not run a deficit as claimed

• Elk Grove does not have a motor fuel tax

• Elk Grove never adopted an additional tax on gasoline.

Let's set the record straight. Christine Prochno opposes taxes and her record as Elk Grove Village trustee reaffirms it. Walker, you should be ashamed of your negative, baseless campaigning that has jeopardized the economic welfare of Elk Grove Village.

Support Christine Prochno this fall! She has done a lot, and she will do a lot more.
