A good time was had by all, reports Marian Central fundraiser committee

"New York, New York" was truly a top-drawer event for Marian Central Catholic High School held March 8 at the Holiday Inn in Crystal Lake.

Honorary chairmen Mike and Erin '83 Smith of Crystal Lake and general chairmen Gary and Cheryl Rabine, Johnsburg, worked to ensure a wonderful evening for all.

The 384 guests enjoyed a delicious meal before furiously bidding on live and silent auction items.

The proceeds of more than $145,000 will go toward financial aid, department programs and parent support group expense.
