Lake Zurich's girls basketball team definitely will miss Lydia Bauer if the junior all-area player is sidelined for any significant length of time.

Peggie Parhas scored 16 points to lead Lake Zurich to a 54-47 win over visiting Zion-Benton.
Olivia Allen and Audrey Bauer added 10 and 9 points, respectively, for Lake Zurich (15-5, 5-2 North Suburban Lake).
Brittany Simmons led Zion-Benton with 14 points, while Dominikque Williams added 13.
Warren 65, Lake Forest 45: Shana Shepherd scored a career-high 22 points for the visiting Blue Devils, who remained perfect in North Suburban Lake Division play.
Sarah Boothe added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 3 blocked shots for Warren (18-1, 8-0). Lory Shaw added 9 points, 5 boards and 4 steals.
Jean Rebarchak had 11 points for Lake Forest.
Round Lake 56, Antioch 38: The Panthers rebounded from their loss to Grant on Thursday, as Labrenthia Murdock and Amber Phillips scored 19 and 18 points, respectively.
Round Lake improved to 16-3 and 6-2 in the North Suburban Prairie Division.
Antioch (8-11, 8-11, 3-5), which lost its third straight, was led in scoring by Katie Budd with 9, including a 3-pointer.
The host Sequoits shot just 21 percent (14 of 67) from the floor.
Grant 65, Wauconda 27: Tori Ziegler scored 20 points, and the host Bulldogs opened a 25-9 lead after one quarter en route to their 12th win in a row.
Grant (18-2, 8-0 North Suburban Prairie) also received 14 points from Jamie Swanson, who hit two 3-pointers. Bailey Wagner added 9.
Lauren Mead led Wauconda (8-9, 4-3) with 9 points.
N. Chicago 63, Lakes 50: The Eagles fell to 0-21 overall and 0-7 in the North Suburban Prairie.
Marist 57, Carmel 37: Maureen Mulchrone scored 20 points for the RedHawks (15-6, 4-1 East Suburban Catholic).
Carmel fell to 10-9, 1-3.
Stevenson 52, Vernon Hills 39: The host Patriots won their third game in a row, as Caitlin Morrissey scored 16 points in the North Suburban Conference crossover.
Kayla Fisher added 14 and Courtney Graber 10 for Stevenson (7-15).
Alana Coy paced Vernon Hills (8-13) with 9 points on three 3-pointers. Brianna Skeens had 8 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 assists for the Cougars.
Prairie Ridge 50, Grayslake North 36: Elizabeth Phillips scored 14 points and Lauren Erickson had 10 points and 8 rebounds for the Knights (8-10).
Prairie Ridge's Anna Patras scored a game-high 18 points.
Mundelein 51, Libertyville 42: Kelsey Weyers and Samantha Panitch scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the host Mustangs.
Mundelein (16-5, 3-3) also received 8 points from Kelsey O'Connor.
Libertyville (9-12, 1-6) received 9 points from Ali Haws, and 8 apiece from Kristy Williams and Maka Stewart.
Grayslake Central 52, CL Central 42: Balanced scoring paced the Rams (5-13).
