Interline Club of Chicago: Charter members of the Interline Club of Chicago will hold its third annual Interline luncheon, for current and former flight attendants and their guests, Oct. 7 at the LaGrange Country Club, 620 S. Buffalo Grove Garden Club: The club has awarded a scholarship for $3,000 to Curtis Pomilia, a 2006 graduate of Buffalo Grove High School and currently a third-year student at Indiana University, where he is majoring in Environmental Studies and Spanish. He is the son of Nadine Pomilia of Buffalo Grove. The Garden Club scholarship is given each year to post secondary students in the fields of landscape, horticulture, agriculture, environment, horticulture or related fields.

Northwest Suburban Astronomers in cooperation with the DeKalb County Forest Preserve District host this opportunity to look at stars, galaxies, nebulae and star clusters with the help of NSA member telescopes.
