Walker stands up for women, children

I want to thank our new state representative, Mark Walker, for taking an active role in standing up to domestic violence.

In addition to domestic violence laws in Springfield, Mark has been working with domestic violence prevention groups in his district to distribute information and raise awareness.

Mark understands that violence against women and children is a disease on a community, and awareness is the cure. We cannot raise our children in a world where this violence is a way of life. That's why Mark's work is so important.

Thank you, Mark Walker, for helping to bring this issue out from behind closed doors, and standing up for women and children.
