Rauschenberger a friend to seniors

On behalf of the 100,000 individuals living in nursing homes and the 80,000 professionals who provide them care, the Health Care Council of Illinois, the state's largest nursing home association, enthusiastically endorses Steve Rauschenberger for election to the Illinois State Senate District 22.

Steve's proven leadership, professional background and life experience make him the best choice for seniors and those who care about seniors' issues.

Rauschenberger has a long track record of success in supporting seniors at the state capitol. During his time in the legislature, Rauschenberger fought to increase funding for seniors in need of long-term health care services. In addition, he established the Minimum Data Set Funding System, which allows seniors to receive a greater range of advanced post-acute and highly-skilled care in nursing homes, helping them heal and transition more easily back to the community.

As Senator for District 22, Steve Rauschenberger will work to improve the quality of life for seniors across Illinois, whether they receive care in their home or a nursing home. We stand together to support his election because we need someone on our side to ensure all seniors get the care they need and deserve.
