Robotics open house Nov. 18 in Hoffman Estates

The village of Hoffman Estates and Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211 invite parents of juniors and seniors interested in engineering to the Golden Corridor Manufacturing Open House, 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, hosted by Fanuc Robotics, 1800 Lakewood Blvd.

Students will learn about the world of manufacturing jobs, where robotics are prevalent. Besides having a chance to win an iPod and an Apple TV, the event will feature live robotics demonstrations, and the chance to meet with NIU, ECC and Harper College representatives.
