Foreclosure seminar coming to Bartlett
A foreclosure seminar to assist local residents struggling to pay their mortgages will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, at the Hanover Township Center, 250 S. Route 59, Bartlett.
Representatives of the Bank of America and the Illinois attorney general's office will be present at the meeting hosted by state Rep. Fred Crespo, a Hoffman Estates Democrat.
The event should help local residents struggling to pay their mortgages, seeking loan modifications, or simply needing clarification on financial statements. After brief presentations, those attending can ask questions.
A similar foreclosure seminar will be offered in Spanish in early September, Crespo said in a news release.
