Outlook: Conant worked some late magic last week despite getting outgained 364-186 and committing 2 turnovers to come back on London Dokubo's second return TD in two weeks. "We are just so young and our inexperience at times really rears its head," said Conant coach Bill Modelski. "We are fighting hard, there's no question. It's kind of interesting at times to see." But the kicking game has been a big key for the Cougars along with the play of MLB John Maevski and DT Kevin Robinson. BG trailed only 14-6 at halftime last week on a TD pass from QB Mike Garrity but looks to rebound after it was outgained 536-127. Joe Damisch had 18 tackles with five for loss and the return of OL Kalvin Booker should help, but S Connor Cheever is out (concussion). "The great thing about playing Schaumburg in Week 2 is our kids are just about ready to play with anybody," said BG coach Jim Farrell, whose team leads the series 9-8.
