Outlook: Last year's game came during a streak of four straight shutouts by the Panthers. While this year's defense hasn't been as dominating, they've still been tough behind the two-way play of Evin Natick and Phil Jackson, who carry the rushing load as running backs and anchor the defense at linebacker. Linemen Brandon Clark, Alex Wynn and linebacker Joe Williams lead the run defense, which is critical against Huskies quarterback Matt LaCosse and running back Antonio Owens. LaCosse also threw for 188 yards last week. Boston College-bound Huskies linebacker Nick Lifka amassed an impressive 18 tackles against the Saints.
