Maine West enjoys another edition of annual Auto Show

Maine West High School students enjoyed another edition of the school’s annual Auto Show, staged under blue skies on the school’s front lawn off Wolf Road.

Spearheaded by Applied Arts and Technology teacher Greg Serrano, the event gave dozens of students a chance to show off their autos, from ordinary street vehicles to the lovingly customized classics.

Faculty members reviewed and judged the vehicles; students performed dance and music numbers; and representatives of the Armed Forces and a couple of local auto dealerships joined the festivities, which students participated in during their lunch periods.
