MHS senior wins history prize

A Mundelein High School senior has earned an honorable mention award in a historical essay contest, the school announced Wednesday. Robert Schwarzhaupt nabbed the honor in the 2010-11 Civil War Trust essay contest, which was sponsored by the History television channel. Schwarzhaupt will receive a membership to the Civil War Trust as a prize. The trust is devoted to preserving Civil War battlefields.
