Marian Key Club will collect used shoes

Marian Central Catholic High School's Key Club has a solution to your closet cleaning dilemma that is both green and humanitarian.

Some 300 million children in the world do not have shoes. That's where Marian students are getting involved - by becoming the hands and feet of Soles4Souls, a Nashville-based nonprofit that facilitates the donations of both new and used shoes, which are used to aid the hurting worldwide. Soles4Souls has distributed more than 4 million pairs to people in more than 70 countries, including the United States, Haiti, Honduras, Uganda and Romania.

Marian Key Club students will be collecting shoes in the school cafeteria during the week of April 19-23. Consider donating used shoes or shopping at local retailers for children's shoes to share with the less fortunate.
