Mundelein hat sales benefit hungry children
Submitted by Ron Girard/District 120
Mundelein High School junior Andrew Westgate has already raised enough money to supply more than 1,500 meals for Feed My Starving Children.
He and his family have been making and selling Mustang Mane hats for $10 each and donating all the proceeds to the charity which packages and sends specially formulated meals to malnourished children in more than 70 countries around the world.
Anyone interested in purchasing a hat or for more information should contact Adam Gohr in the band office at MHS at (847) 949-2200, ext. 1559, or email him at agohr@d120.org.
