Active Adults celebrate Royalty Day at Addison Park District

Tuesday, June 7 was a day of great celebration for the Active Adults Senior Club of the Addison Park District. The annual Royalty Day Celebration was held and a new King and Queen were installed for 2011.

While the day was especially memorable for Frances Maranto and Dominick Gatto, crowned Queen and King, respectively, all of the Active Adult Senior Club members enjoyed a festive meal, musical entertainment and dancing.

The Active Adult Senior Club features programs and leisure trips designed, but not limited to, adults aged 55 or greater. The club also meets for lunch every Tuesday from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the Community Rec Center, 120 E. Oak Street in Addison. Addison Park District's Senior Club is open to residents living outside of Addison also. For more information about club activities, call Active Adult Coordinator, Darlene Schnidt, at 630-833-0100 or visit the Addison Park District online at www.addisonparks.org.
