Uninformed letter on mask mandate shouldn't have been published

You had no reason to publish the stupidity of this guest columnist. ("Masks in schools should be a choice, not a requirement," Aug. 19)

His comments are ignorant and misinformed. As a result, your paper contributes to the misinformation concerning covid protection.

He is totally unqualified, as a financial advisor, to make such stupid statements. Masks are effective deterrents to covid spread. This is a scientific and proven fact. His viewpoint is dangerous and outrageously ignorant.
