Conant celebrates ‘Winterfest’

As a way to beat the winter “blahs,” Conant High School will hold a winter spirit week, similar to the school’s Homecoming week, called “Winterfest,” from Monday, Feb. 14, through Friday, Feb. 18. The week will have spirit days, class competitions for charity, “Dancing with the Cougars Stars” sponsored by the Junior Class Council, a pep assembly and a special event to be announced during the Cougar basketball game against Fremd High School at 7: 30 p.m. Friday in the school gymnasium. Spirit Week will conclude with the Winter Formal Dance on Saturday, Feb. 19.
