Explore fall plants Sept. 16 at Spring Valley's Merkle Log Cabin

Explore the beauty of fall plants through free activities.

Pathway to Plants will be held from noon to 4 p.m., Sept. 16 at Merkle Log Cabin at Spring Valley.

Participants of all ages will learn to recognize plants through games, activities, books, leaf rubbings, puzzles and a slideshow. Information about upcoming Spring Valley events including National Public Lands Day on Sept. 22 and Autumn Harvest Festival on Oct. 7 will be available.

Pre-registration is not required for this free program.

Parking is available at Spring Valley Nature Center, 1111 E. Schaumburg Road. Merkle Log Cabin is a 10-minute walk from the Nature Center parking lot.
